Message: Came in for a perm and it turned out perfect. The students are so friendly and helpful towards one another! They had to deal with my at home, uneven shaggy mullet but the girl that did my hair was a trooper, big time! The environment with girls around my age feels so much more welcoming than most salons. I haven’t had my hair touched by a professional in four years but this definitely was the best experience, especially with a lot of tragic great clips haircuts I’ve had years prior :).

Message: I always come to the AoC whenever I need a trim or deep conditioning treatment. The staff are very friendly, the teachers make sure students are supervised, and I have always been looking my best every time I left. I highly recommend going here if you need to save money and get the same quality treatment as another established salon.

Message: In addition to almost always being able to get an appointment (often within an hour or so of when I call) and that it's the most budget-friendly haircut in town ($8), I go to the Academy of Cosmetology for the people. I love to hear the different hairdressers' stories and what their future hopes and plans are. Each of them always seems glad to see me, does a good job on my hair, and the management is fun to joke around with and know my name. I've never had a bad haircut yet!

Message: I'm picky about my hair and both times I've come here I've gotten a fantastic cut! Most recently I got a haircut fixed and colored from a botched expensive salon in town. Christin was super nice and helpful and the instructors and great as well. Will definitely be coming back. Also the price can't be beat!

Message: I have to say my experience here was wonderful. I had been growing my hair for 36 years, I had it cut in September by a relative in Washington state. In December I went somewhere else and the person had no idea what thinning was. I called up AOD and they got me in that day! The young lady who cut my hair listened to what I wanted and did an excellent job. I will be going to see her one more time before she graduates in April. I will then follow her to her new place of employment. Thank you very much Savanna for the great cut and I will see you in about 3 weeks.
